Can we deduct FinSA affiliation fees of any other Terraxis services?

Yes, at Terraxis we encourage you to use the power of mediation to resolve any business dispute you may have. Therefore, we automatically deduct the FinSA membership fee from any commercial mediation.

Does Terraxis charge termination fees and impose a notice period?

Terraxis do not charge termination fees. 2021 affiliation will terminate itself automatically at the end of the validity period (31 December 2021). 2022 affiliation will be proposed to our affiliates in the course of 2021 and will remain at their sole decision. There is no automatic renewal nor our affiliates are bound to renew their affiliation should they don't want or need to.

Are there any additional fees for the first-year registration?

No, Terraxis does not charge such fees. There are no registration or application fees to pay and you only pay the affiliation fee mentioned in #02 above which includes all the costs associated with your affiliation.

How long can it take to register at Terraxis?

Your affiliation is immediate with a credit card payment. In the case of a bank transfer, it will require about 24 hours after payment execution.

We are a group of companies. Each of them needs to be affiliated individually, can we all register in one single process and payment?

Yes, please contact us for grouped affiliation and price.

We are a foreign entity, do we have to affiliate ourselves via our swiss representative?

No, you are entirely free to affiliate to the ombudsman office of your choice.

Until when an affiliation done today is valid?

December 31, 2021 regardless of when you register in 2021.

Can we mandate Terraxis for a FinSA mediation even if we are affiliated to another Ombudsman?

Yes, it is completely possible to conduct a FinSA mediation with Terraxis even if the Ombudsman you are affiliated to is not Terraxis.

Can we deduct FinSA affiliation fees from other Terraxis services?

Yes. We encourage you to use the power of mediation to resolve your potential business disputes. To do this, we automatically deduct the FinSA affiliation fees from any commercial mediation.

Does Terraxis charge termination fees and impose a cancellation period?

We do not charge cancellation fees. The 2024 affiliation will automatically end at the end of the validity period (31 December 2024). The 2025 affiliation will be offered to our affiliates in 2024 and will remain at their sole decision.

There is no automatic renewal and our affiliates are not required to renew their membership if they no longer wish to or need it.

Are there any additional fees for first year registration?

No, we do not charge such fees. There are no registration fees or processing fees to pay and you only pay the affiliation price mentioned in #02 above which includes all costs associated with your affiliation.

Is the cost the same regardless of the number of advisors within the same financial service provider?

Yes, the price is per entity/company and not per number of advisors (art. 3 & 29 FinSA).

How long does it take to register with Terraxis?

Affiliation is instant with payment by credit card. It will take approximately 24 hours in the case of a bank transfer and as soon as it is made.

We are based overseas. Do we have to go through our Swiss representative for our affiliation?

No, you are entirely free to choose and join the mediation body of your choice.

How long will a membership made today be valid?

31 December 2025, regardless of when you registered.

Will Terraxis inform the Swiss authorities of our affiliation?

Yes, Terraxis will inform directly the Federal Departement of Finance (FDF) of your entity's affiliation in a separate process where you do not need to intervene. This is done on an annual basis according to FinSA art. 86 and is part of the duties of Terraxis within the meaning of the FinSA.

Can we mandate Terraxis for FinSA mediation even though we are affiliated with another mediation body?

Yes, it is entirely possible to do FinSA mediation with Terraxis even if you are affiliated with another mediation body.
